Structure Your Own Program
If your group wishes to structure their own program, Higher Ground's staff is eager to work with you to provide meals and necessary facilities. A variety of menus are available. Meals are lovingly prepared in a commercially equipped kitchen. Higher Ground is known for its great food.

Building a Cross
This inspirational video is from R.A.W, Recovery and Wilderness. The group utilized Higher Ground's facilities to help men struggling with addiction. One of their activities was building a cross. The cross is still on Higher Ground today.
Higher Ground and the Cockayne Syndrome, East Coast, Retreat
Virginia Currents is a regional television program about items of interest in Virginia. This segment illustrates some of the wonderful things that go on at Higher Ground. Teresa Wall is president of the Cockayne Syndrome on the East Coast, an organization that has used Higher Ground as a retreat several times over the past few years, most recently in the summer of 2012.
