Higher Ground Christian Retreat Center offers a variety of accommodations designed to provide comfort and spiritual renewal. Guests can choose from two six-unit motels, each room uniquely decorated to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. For larger groups or those seeking a more communal experience, dormitories equipped with kitchenettes are available, providing convenience and flexibility. Outdoor enthusiasts can opt for tent sites, allowing them to connect with nature in a tranquil setting. Higher Ground is committed to accessibility, with lodging options that are handicap accessible. Whether you are seeking solitude or fellowship, Higher Ground provides a peaceful haven for reflection and connection.
Fairview Lodge
A 6-room motel-type unit that can sleep up to 24 people. Each room has 2 full-sized beds and its own bathroom.
Sonshine House
A 7 room housing unit that can sleep up to 28 people. It has a family-style living room with a fireplace and a small kitchenette. Two large bathrooms with multiple facilities make it ideal for all kinds of large groups. Our ofiice is located in this building.
Inn Agape
A 6-room motel-type unit that will sleep up to 21 people.
Dining
Home-cooked meals that you choose from our menus for your group are served from our commercial kitchen. The dining hall is light and airy and boasts a fireplace.
The Tabernacle
A great place to meet for crafts and games. The stage also makes it an ideal place to put on plays, skits, and musicals.
Gazebo
Our gazebo overlooks a valley that encompasses two states. It is a favorite for weddings and meditation times.
